Royal Bank Day of Service - they aren’t kidding!

NWAS was the recipient of the Royal Bank Day of Service grant!  On June 1, 9 volunteers came to the shelter to work, and did they ever!  Grass was cut, slash loaded on a trailer, painting, fencing, and general cleanup.  A big thank you to Tara, Raeleen, Lisa, Tina, Shawn, Ian, Adele, Don and Ada - pictured above with Tooley, NWAS dog available for adoption.  Not only did they come to work, NWAS also received a donation of $1,000.  Such community support is greatly appreciated!
