Gus

This sweet old man showed up as a stray in Houston. The caring home owner immediately recognized that something wasn't right with poor Gus and got in touch with us. He was quickly brought to Vet to Pet at their Houston location where Dr Morton ran tests and determined that he is diabetic. On top of the diabetes Gus is obviously very skinny. Gus is now in foster care and has started on insulin injections. There is a long road ahead while we get Gus to a healthy weight and regulate his insulin dosage but his future is certainly bright. Gus is lucky to have stumbled on to the home of someone who cared, them taking the time to write us an email most definitely saved this cats life. Stay tuned for updates on Gus's progress.
