FOR ADOPTION: Daisy is a 1-year-old, 40 lb Pitbull mix looking for a fun, active forever family!
​Daisy came to us alongside her mother when their previous owner could no longer care for them due to health reasons. While initially timid in new surroundings, Daisy warms up quickly once treats are involved! Once comfortable, this sweet girl is a true spitfire—packed with the energy, athletic ability, and tenacity to tackle any adventure.
​Daisy will thrive with a handler who keeps her mind and body engaged. She would make an incredible companion for running, hiking, or cycling, and has huge potential for dog sports like agility, weight pull, or flyball. When active mode is off, she turns into a total lovebug who wants nothing more than to snuggle up with her humans.
​Ideal Home & Needs:
​Family: Best suited for an adult-only home (or families with older kids); she is especially fond of men!
​Pets: Must be the only pet in the home. She has a high prey drive for small animals and cats, and prefers not to share her space with other dogs.
​Leash & Reactivity: Walks fine past calm dogs, but can react to excited or reactive dogs. She is currently working on muzzle training as a safe precaution for encounters with off leash dogs.
​Containment: Super athletic! She can scale a 7 ft chain-link fence if left unattended, so she requires a secure setup or tie cable for unsupervised yard time. (If you’re out there playing fetch with her, she won't want to be anywhere else!)
