Cocoa (Adopted) and Coffee

FOR ADOPTION: COCOA (Adopted) and COFFEE are the newest pups on the block looking for their forever families. This brother/sister pair were abandoned in downtown Smithers, picked up by the Town of Smithers Bylaw Officer and never claimed so they have now become ours and are so ready to have their happily ever after! Our vet has estimated these pups to be about 9 weeks old based on their teeth, they are currently 5.5 and 5.7kg and should mature between 14 and 20kg. They are fun, spunky, medium energy pups right now that should mature to be higher medium energy dogs. Are you looking for a jogging, hiking, biking or skiing buddy? If so we have a pup for you! They are also incredibly smart and eager to please. They have already learned to come when called and are starting to work on sit. They mostly use the newspaper when in their kennel to go to the bathroom and have just started getting outside time to further their house training. So far they have been non destructive with their toys, bedding and newspapers. As intelligent, active little dogs they will require regular mental and physical stimulation to keep them on their best behaviour. Cocoa and Coffee have been very good with the kids that frequent our shelter. They will jump up for attention (we are working on this) but they are not mouthy etc. At this point they have had limited exposure to other dogs and cats while in our care, they are excited about seeing the mature dogs through the fence and ready to get into homes where they can socialize much easier. Cocoa and Coffee were just vet checked, they are now vaccinated and will be up to date on parasite control before they head to new homes.
