Ash

FOR ADOPTION: ASH is an enthusiastic 56lb, 7 month old male that is looking for his special forever family. This sweet boy came into our care 4 months ago after being left at the vet clinic with a horrendous case of parvo that his owners could not afford to treat. Ash fought hard, survived, made it through isolation while he was feeling good but still contagious and is now thriving and beyond ready for his forever home. Ash is no longer shedding virus and is not contagious. He is a fun, exuberant young fella that loves to learn and be with his people. He has had the privilege of living in a loving foster home for the past month and is doing so well there. Here is what they have to say about him.
“He is such a sweet bundle of energy who would make an amazing companion for any adventures you've got planned. He travels well in a vehicle, even jumps in on his own now.
He is clean, calm and quiet in a crate, and learning house manners. He's a busy boy, but good to chill out when told too!
He would be a perfect addition to any family, as he does well with kids, a bit shy but warms up quickly.
He has great leash skills, and his recall is coming along well too!
He LOVES to play, and would do well with a dog friend in the home, but it would need to be the right one, able to handle his energy or be firm enough to tell him to 'bugger off!'
He also is wonderful with cats!!
