Paul

​Paul is a sweet adult male looking for a kind and understanding forever family. This handsome guy was a stray for quite some time before being humanely trapped and brought to NWAS. Estimated to be around 6 years old, he initially arrived terrified and defensive. Having spent the majority of his life protecting himself, Paul had a thick wall built up that was hard to break down.
​It took many months, countless tube treats, and positive feline role models, but we can happily say Paul is finally ready to be someone's cherished pet! He now happily accepts pets and brushing, and he is even starting to enjoy being held. While he is most comfortable around adults, he will also accept gentle affection from calm children.
​Paul has proven to be absolutely phenomenal with other friendly cats. Though he isn't much of a playful guy, he loves lounging with his buddies and frequently hosts "block parties" where multiple feline friends join him inside his kennel. He has also been completely non-reactive toward friendly dogs and could easily cohabitate with a calm canine companion.
​Paul is perfectly content living life strictly indoors with large windows to watch the world go by, giving us absolutely no indication that he misses his time on the streets.
