Eduardo

FOR ADOPTION: EDUARDO is a dashing approximately 2 year old male that is looking for a loving and interactive forever family. This sweet boy was found as a stray in rural Smithers during the coldest part of this past winter. The caring home owners worked hard to trap him and get him warm and safely away from their dogs. Eduardo has been incredibly personable and affectionate since he has arrived at NWAS. He loves people of all ages and wants nothing more than to be with someone all the time. Eduardo is a master snuggler and if you don’t have time to cuddle he will be right there supervising whatever you’re up to. He would do very well in a large family where he can spread his affection around or with someone looking for a constant companion. One of the ways Eduardo likes to show that he loves you is by winding himself around your feet so that he can be touching you while you walk, this can be a tripping hazard for those with mobility restrictions but it comes from a place of love. Eduardo has been good with the other cats at the shelter, he’s does best with a couple of calm buddies Vs a large and rowdy playgroup but we do think he will do well in a home with another cat or two. Dogs make Eduardo nervous, he is even on edge around young and submissive puppies. We do think he has been chased by dogs in his past and he would be happiest in a dog free home or one with a canine companion that just ignores cats. Eduardo is quite happy indoor only and could do well indoor outdoor if his people enjoy gardening or patio time in the warmer months. He is neutered, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. He is also sporting a newly 3/4 length tail due to an injury when he was live trapped. Dr Morton at Bulkley River Veterinary Services did an excellent job on his amputation and Eduardo does not miss the tip of his tail one bit.
