BeeBee is a sleek and stunning 11-month-old female looking for a gentle, loving forever home. She came into our care several months ago from a colony situation with minimal human handling.
​When BeeBee first arrived, she was terrified of everyone and everything—scared, but never mean. It took months of consistent, patient care from one dedicated volunteer for her to build trust. Once she felt safe, more people were gradually introduced, and she has warmed up faster with each new face. Now, BeeBee is a friendly cat who thoroughly enjoys being petted. While she isn't comfortable being held just yet, she will rub all over you and loves being as close as possible.
​BeeBee will likely be nervous when transitioning to a new environment, so she needs a family that will offer her patience and kindness as she settles in. She gets overwhelmed by loud or rowdy children, but she has happily accepted gentle pets from calm kids. For this reason, she would do best in an adult home, though she can handle child visitors.
​Ideal Home Environment:
​Other Pets: Great with other cats and would love a gentle feline companion. She has had limited but positive interactions with dogs and is open to a home with a calm canine.
​Indoor Only: BeeBee needs an indoor-only home where she can feel secure. She could eventually learn to enjoy an enclosed catio, but she is not a candidate for an indoor/outdoor lifestyle since she hides when frightened.
