Hudson

FOR ADOPTION: HUDSON is a handsome 5.5 month old male Australian Cattle Dog mix pup that is expected to mature around 50lbs. This lovely little guy has been with us since he was a 3 months old pup along with all of his brother and sisters. Hudson is a cautious young dog that takes time to warm up to new people and situations but once he is comfortable Hudson is the sweetest boy. Hudson is gentle and kind with people of all ages. He is is a dog that will thrive with a calm and confident human to lead him through all life’s scary moments. Hudson is good with most other dogs. In his sibling group he is a bit of a follower taking the lead from his more confident siblings. Hudson is just starting to meet other dogs without the safety net of his siblings and so far he has been very respectful with all the new pooches. He would love to play with new dogs but is not pushy about it and has been quite gentle with the senior large dogs he’s recently met. Hudson has shown zero signs of prey drive so far and should be able to happily coexist with most any type of animal after a proper introduction. Hudson is mostly house trained, he is clean in his shared kennel throughout the day but cannot hold it overnight yet. Once Hudson moves into a home where he is not alone for 10 hours overnight we think he will quickly finish up his house training. Hudson is still a puppy with puppy chewing tendencies and he will do well crated when he is alone to keep him out of destructive trouble until he has matured. Hudson has a solid higher medium energy level. He will make a great hiking, cycling, skiing or jogging buddy once his body has matured. Hudson is learning to walk well on leash and ride on the car and he has a solid sit. He is up to date on vaccinations and parasite control and is booked to be neutered in early April. Hudson is able to head into his forever home on an extended trial period until after he is healed from his surgery. Hudson will be adopted at the adult fee of $300 plus tax.
