Atna

FOR ADOPTION: ATNA is a fun and lively 5.5 month old female Australian Cattle Dog mix pup. This fun girl has been with us for two months now and she is so ready for her happily ever after. Originally Atna and her littermates were on track to be quite large dogs but after their last vet check they are now expected to be closer to 50 lobs mature. Atna is a very forward young dog with string food drive and desire to learn. She’s going to make a super fun training partner and could make a fantastic rally, agility, scent or disc dog with a little encouragement and training. Atna will be a medium to high energy dog that will do well with an active family that is committed to working her mind and body. She will make an excellent hiking, jogging, skiing or cycling companion once her body is mature enough for those higher impact sports. Atna is extremely personable and loves to be the centre of attention. She does well with kids (but is still learning to not jump up) and is good with other dogs. Atna has had limited exposure to cats but has no prey drive tendencies. Atna is a smart cookie that has mastered sit and is working hard on stay/wait and walking well on leash. Atna is mostly house trained while in the dog kennel at the shelter but will need guidance for that skill to transfer over to a home. Atna is fully up to date on her vaccinations and parasite control. She is booked to be spayed in early April and is available on an extended trail until she has healed from her surgery. Atna will be available at the mature dog adoption fee of $300 plus tax. If you’ve been looking for an active and fun companion apply today for a chance to meet ATNA
