FOR ADOPTION: SHADOW is a friendly and playful approximately 1 year old male who is looking for a fun forever family. Shadow comes to us from a bit of a cat colony situation but has had consistent, kind handling from the people in his life. He is a really engaging and fun boy that loves full body pets and getting his play on! Shadow does not understand why anyone would want to pick him up and is awkward and uncomfortable in those situations but he loves to come to you to initiate pets. If you’re not someone that wants to be carrying your cat around this could be the boy for you. Shadow has been excellent with the other cats at the shelter, most likely because he’s grown up around so many of them. He has had limited interactions with dogs so far in his life but his friendly and curious personality make him a good match for a calm and gentle dog. He’s also had limited interactions with children but seems to warm up quickly to everyone that is kind to him. If there was a respectful kid that liked to play with wand toys they could become BFFs pretty quickly. Shadow is neutered, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control.
