​Oasis is an adorable 11-month-old female looking for a quiet, loving forever family. Born to a feral mother, she initially needed some time to learn to trust humans. However, once Oasis opens up, she becomes an incredibly gentle, affectionate companion who loves being pet and staying close to her people.
​Oasis recently spent a couple of months in a dedicated foster home, where she truly learned how to blossom. By the end of her foster stay, she had transformed into a loving girl who actively seeks out affection and is well on her way to becoming a certified lap cat!
​While she is currently working on regaining her confidence back at the shelter, she still thoroughly enjoys gentle chin scratches. We are entirely confident she will flourish again once she settles into a stable environment.

​Children: She can get overwhelmed by loud, rowdy energy, but she is wonderfully gentle with calm, respectful older kids.
​Cats: Excellent! She is a friendly feline companion who will happily play with energetic young cats or simply lounge around with more mature companions.
​Dogs: She has had limited but positive experiences and would be open to sharing her home with a calm, cat-friendly pooch.
​Environment: Oasis is looking for an indoor-only home where she can safely build her confidence; she would likely panic and hide if allowed outdoors.
