June is an adorable, 8-month-old female cat looking for a quiet and loving forever family.
​Her Personality
​This petite sweetie came to us from a colony situation. Because of this, she was initially undersocialized, but she has been completely open to making new connections since the day she arrived. June has learned to trust people and truly enjoys gentle pets and playtime—though if she had to choose, she would take playtime over pets any day!
​She absolutely loves chasing her bell toys, ripping through cat tunnels, and scaling the scratching posts and shelving units at the shelter. Once she has burned off all that energy, June is happy to come over for some sweet, gentle affection.
​Her Preferences & Ideal Home
​Handling: She is still getting used to the idea of being picked up and would honestly prefer to keep all four paws planted firmly on the ground.
​Kids: June gets overwhelmed by loud, rowdy children, though she does like to investigate them during their quieter, peaceful moments. She would do best in a home with teenagers or in a household where respectful children only visit occasionally.
​Other Cats: June is phenomenal with other felines! She is happy to share her playful energy with them or simply leave them be while she does her own thing.
​Dogs: She has had minimal exposure to dogs but has shown she is open to meeting friendly, respectful pooches.
​Lifestyle: June has been an indoor-only cat her entire life and would do best continuing that lifestyle (or enjoying a secure catio!).
