Spike - adopted

FOR ADOPTION: SPIKE is a loving, energetic roughly 2 year old Doberman mix. Spike is between 60 and 70lbs of solid muscle that would love nothing more than to curl up in your arms for a snuggle session. He is a young active guy that will be looking for a home where he can get lots of exercise. If you're an avid hiker, jogger, or cyclist that is looking for a canine companion Spike could be your guy. Spike is very gentle with children but may knock very little ones down when he gets excited. He has been very good with the other dogs but can get excitedly anxious and that energy will cause some other dogs to not like him. Spike would do best with a level headed but playful dog buddy. He does seem to have a high chase or prey drive and will not be suited for a home with small animals such as cats, bunnies or chickens. We have not had the chance to test him with larger livestock. Spike is house trained, crate trained, non destructive and learning to walk nicely on a leash. He is neutered, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you've been looking for a handsome fellow to accompany you on outdoor activities and then cuddle the evening away, Spike is your man. Apply today for a chance to meet SPIKE
