FOR ADOPTION: SPAZ is an approximately 1 year old male looking for a fun family to call his own. Spaz has been in our care for quite some time now due to some medical concerns. A major heart murmur was discovered when Spaz went in to be neutered. He was monitored for a month allowing his body to grow before he had a recheck and x-rays. At the time of this first recheck it was found that Spaz’s heart murmur is caused by a congenital heart defect. He started on medication to slow the pumping of his heart and decrease the size of his defect and moved into a foster home for close monitoring for two more months. He had a second recheck last week and it was found that the medication is working well. The vets cannot give a definitive life expectancy for little Mr Spaz. He could happily life another 15 years or he could only have 5 years. He will be on medication for the rest of his life, it costs approximately $30 a month. We want to find him a home that will give him the very best life possible for as long as he has. Spaz is a joyful, high energy, playful guy that is excellent with children, has lived with dogs of all sizes and loves to play with other playful cats. He is affectionate and people oriented and would do best in a home where he can get a lot of attention throughout the day. Spaz has been indoor only so far and will easily continue in that fashion. He is neutered, vaccinated, and up to Date on parasite control. If you’ve been looking for a Feline to inject a lot of fun into your household, apply today for a chance to meet SPAZ
